Villa D' Carlo
Restaurant History
A Legacy Of Great Food
Our Story
In 1957, Carl Ruffalo opened his first pizzeria in Columbus Park, where Italians first settled in Kenosha. He used only the freshest ingredients for his original family recipe, and stone-bottomed ovens for a perfect crispy crust. People flocked to his restaurant and Villa D’ Carlo soon became famous for thin-crust pizza.
A Kenosha Staple
Villa D' Carlo Today
Although times have changed, Carl’s Pizza hasn’t. Today the same family recipes are used…from the dough to our slow simmered sauce and homemade sausage. While other pizzerias have come and gone, Carl’s Pizza is still a favorite. Thank you for making Carl’s Pizza the longest-running family-owned pizzeria in Kenosha!
